One of the biggest tattoos that he has is the word Khalifa, on his back.. He even came up with a song and a of couple music videos, called “Ink My Whole Body”. Somebody asked how many does he actually have been the answer was a lot. It is also suggested that Matt Lettau may be one of the artists that did the ink.
On his chest he has the quote from Martin Luther King, Jr., “The ultimate measure of a Man is not where He stands in moments of comfort and convenience. But where He stands at times of challenge and controversy.”. Wiz Khalifa tattoos started when he was 16 when he got his first one. His first tattoo with the name of his group and then he just kept going from there. He said most of them are spiritual or have something to do with his life and how he lives it eerie at said they all have meaning, including the one that says, “Self Made”. He said he has one for his uncle he has one for his sister. And of course, he has superstar written out on his knuckles.
Was Khalifa, tattoos have been the subject of many interviews and he said that the “Self Made” tat is his favorite because it means a lot to him. He said, it embodies how he has really been a self-made person and he just really really likes that one. Where will he stop? It is truly hard to say. Certainly as he presses on in his life he will surely add additional tattoos that have huge meaning to him.

The very risque "Love Game" singer is no stranger to the tattoo gun and absolutely loves showing off her tattoos when she can. She also loves talking about and telling the stories behind her tattoos. The very popular, Lady Gaga is currently on tour in Japan and she decided to add some more ink to her every growing tattoo collection. The "Poker Face" singer that is probably best known for her crazy, over the top and very risque outfits and song lyrics got a new tattoo on the inner part of her left bicep.
Lady Gaga got this tattoo at midnight when she was in Osaka, Japan. The new tattoo reads in a scripted writing, "In the deepest hour of the night, confess to yourself that you would die if you were forbidden to write. And look deep into your heart where it spreads its roots, the answer, and ask yourself, must I write?'"
So one may wonder what this tattoo means and why she decided to get it permanently inked on her bicep. Lady Gaga, who's real name is Stefani Germanotta, says its a quote from favorite poet Rainer Maria Rilke. By Gaga getting this new a fairly large tattoo in a fairly noticeable place for a woman it's just proof that a beautiful woman can get a tattoo and it not take away from her beauty. More and more woman are getting riskier went it comes to getting tattoo and what they get them of. It's kind of like all the woman in the world are flipping the bird to all those haters and nay sayers.

She’s only 17, but America’s Most Famous Teenager already has two tattoos — and those are only the ones we can see. That Miley Cyrus sure is growing up fast!
Last year, the Hannah Montana star had the words “Just Breathe” inked on her rib cage in tribute to a friend who died of cystic fibrosis. Now Miles’ gone for something far more visible – the word “LOVE” etched on her ear.
That must’ve hurt.
The starlet revealed her latest ink as she made her way through Los Angeles International Airport hand-in-hand with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The young lovebirds just happened to be celebrating their one-year anniversary on Tuesday — a milestone Miley commemorated with a blurb on her personal blog.
It’s illegal for anyone under 18 to get a tattoo without parental permission, so Billy Ray and Tish must have okayed this one. Reckon they did the right thing?

Heart tattoos have been around for centuries. The old sailors and servicemen of course would get hearts with a banner that would have their girlfriends or wifes name on them. However, today many women are getting heart tattoos to show what they hold close. It could be a loved one that has passed as a memorial tattoo or it could be a significant person in your life or someone you love. There are also the sacred hearts, hearts with keys and so many other variations. Even realistic hearts are growing in popularity among women. Hearts essentially are a symbol of what you hold close and value the most in your life. If you have something that you value deeply that you want to be reminded of the connection a heart tattoo might be the thing you are looking for.

Unfortunately, there are many people out there that have a tattooed misspelled, this awful practice happens more than one may think. The horrible thing about misspelling a tattoo is there is not way to erase it and start over. Once it is misspelled it is going to stay that way forever, not unless there is enough room to correct it or room to cover it up with another tattoo. With this being said it is pretty ironic that tattoo is one of the most misspelled words out there. So if you don't want to be like the many people out there in the world that has a misspelled tattoo follow these next steps and you should be never have this problem.
Most tattoo artist put your tattoo design on a piece of transfer paper that gets applied very similar to a temporary tattoo. Before the tattoo artist puts it on you they ask if everything looks alright and they ask the same after the have applied on you. So before they put this template on you make 100% sure that whatever word or phrases that you are getting tattooed on you is spelled correctly. If you are unsure of a spelling of a word, for heaven sakes look it up. Also after the tattoo artist has applied the transfer paper to your skin check again to make sure everything looks correct before they fire up the tattoo gun and go to town on your skin. It is always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to a tattoo.

Thomas Collins convinced his mother, Katie, to pay the 13 dollars for two black henna tattoos – one on each shoulder.
“It seemed like fun, and the tattoos only cost five Euros each,” said Katie, who lives in Lancashire, England. “Plus, the man doing the tattoos was based in the hotel complex, so I assumed it would be safe.”
When their family returned home, the black dye had faded, but Thomas’ arms began to itch and hurt. He also developed a high temperature.
When I looked at his arms, I saw the outlines of the tattoos had been replaced by angry red blisters,” Katie said. “It looked awful – the blisters were raised and even looked a greeny-yellow color in some places. His arm was weeping and fluid was seeping out where the tattoos had been.”
Thomas suffered a severe allergic reaction to the paraphenylenediamine, a chemical sometimes added to henna to make it black, in his Bart Simpson and skull tattoos.
Henna tattoos are usually harmless when they have their natural brown or reddish color, but when the black dye is added they have been known to cause severe allergic reactions and even require plastic surgery.
Although Thomas’ reaction went away after two months, it triggered new allergies to certain medications and everyday products, such as printer ink, rubber, lawnmowers and sun lotion, which Katie said has been upsetting for Thomas.
“I’m just glad Thomas didn’t have the tattoos all over his body,” Katie said. “The doctor said that he had one of the worst reactions he had ever seen.

Getting a tattoo is an adventurous, but not easy thing to do. Among withstanding the pain that is inflicted as they perform the procedure, there are other precautions after. Also, be careful about which tattoo parlors to go to. Whoever you go make sure that they are very intense and serious about the procedures for sterilization and precautions,
After you get your tattoo, it is then your responsibility to take care of it from here on after. As soon as the tattoo artist is done, time yourself. Maker sure that your bandage is on for at least 2 hours before removing and when you do remove it, make sure that you use an antiseptic.
There are five important things to remember for tattoo aftercare.
1. Regularly clean up the tattoo read with some sort of ointment or cream. Do not se anything that has scents or colors when cleaning, it could infect it.
2. Avoid hot tubs for the next two weeks after getting your tattoos. Do not swim anywhere and be weary of getting it wet in the shower. Soap can really mess up your tattoo so make sure it does not get near the tattooed area.
3. If you notice peeling or scabbing, this is normal after a few days. If the scabbing makes you uncomfortable then feel free to remove it with a moist rag (do not rub). Repeat 2-3 times a day.

Nowadays there is a vast variety of tattoo design and body location combinations that make fantastic tattoos for girls and it can often be difficult to decide which tattoo design to ink, and where to site it. This article is dedicated to girls looking for ideas and advice to help them plan their next tattoo
In the past it was mainly men who decorated their bodies with tattoos, however over the past 50 years or so tattoos for girls have also become incredibly popular. The rise in the popularity of tattoos among girls followed the women's rights movement, as social attitudes changed to embrace equality. While many girls still prefer the classic tattoo designs styles and body locations that are also popular among men, recent decades has also seen an explosion in incredibly feminine and elegant tattoo design styles that have been developed especially for female tattoo enthusiasts. There are so many different design styles around that there really is something for everyone.
There are so many options for girls planning a new tattoo that choosing a design and where to ink it can be rather daunting. It is incredibly important to really take your time making a decision. Tattoos are permanent and girls who get inked on the spare of the moment usually live to regret it.
The two biggest choices to make when planning a new tattoo are which design to ink, and where on the body to ink it. Some girls prefer to pick the design first, and then think about where best to have it tattooed, while other girls pick the body location first. There is no right or wrong way, although I personally recommend considering both the design and body area simultaneously when planning a new tattoo.

Since thousands of years tribal tattoos are being inked into the skin of human beings. The practice may somewhat differ from what tattooing means now but people still get tribal tattoos done on their skin because of their striking design and appearance. Earlier tattoos were done mainly with the reason of belonging to a tribe. People with the same type of tattoo on their skin belonged to the same tribe. Apart for this reason there were also many other reasons for getting a tattoo.
For some tribes tattooing was a path to social status. The Maori tribe was one among them. The Maoris were a tribe of New Zealand and tribal tattoos let them ride the ladder of social status. Their tattoos were known as Moko designs. But Moko designs were not only used for social status, it was also used for health purposes. They believed that by tattooing Moko designs on their skin they can preserve their youth. That is why women of Maori used to tattoo their lips and chins. An old story says when an old woman started losing her eyesight; she tattooed her hands and face in order to gain back her eyesight.
In Hawaii, the inhabitants had their own tattoo God, temples for tattoo Gods and also tattoo priests. Before starting a tattooing session they used to pray to the tattoo God to make the process less painful, so that the person upon whom the tattoo is done doesn't die and the wounds heal as fast as possible and they also pray for design to be beautiful.

The celebrity tattoos that have sparked a Latin craze among schoolchildren
0 comments Posted by godo at 12:13 AMCelebrity Latin tattoos may be fuelling a revival of the ancient language in schools, it emerged today.
Pupils are increasingly demanding to study the subject, according to an exam board, as tattooed celebrities such as David Beckham and Angelina Jolie enhance Latin's profile.
The OCR exam board today launched a new Latin qualification aimed at teenagers as secondary schools increasingly offer the subject, either during the curriculum or after-hours.
But examiners urged pupils not to emulate model Danielle Lloyd, whose Latin tattoo is riddled with errors.
While Beckham and Jolie's Latin inscriptions are grammatically correct, Lloyd's is meaningless, they said.
Her tattoo, 'Quis attero mihi tantum planto mihi validus', which is etched on to her shoulder, is intended to translate as 'To diminish me will only make me stronger'.
But experts say the words in fact translate into something more akin to 'Who I wear away for me only for me strong'.

Contrary to what a few people believe, men and tattoos have had a long, long history. The origin of tattoos can be traced back to more than 5000 thousand years ago. Back then, the concept of tattooing was used for a number of reasons - as a signature symbol of a particular tribe, as a mark of seniority/rank/superiority, for religious reasons, for medicinal illustrations, and many more. However, thanks to celebrities like David Beckham, Angelina Jolie, Robbie Williams, 50 Cent, Johnny Depp, Eminem, Britney Spears and Jessica Alba; getting a tattoo in the modern era is mostly seen as a way of showcasing one's personality and making an individual style statement. All the above-mentioned celebrities are famous for having sported varieties of tattoos, and therefore can very well be labeled as the 'unofficial tattoo ambassadors' of the 21st century. In this article, we will have a look at the different possibilities when it comes to tattoos for men. Therefore, without wasting too much time, let us have a look at a few tattoo ideas for men.

Lady Gaga has had her left arm tattood, which can be prominently seen in her new “Telephone” video, since August 2009. She got it in Osaka, Japan on a midnight tattoo run when she was in the country getting Hello Kitty photographs taken.
The cursive script is a Rilke quote, a poet who Gaga calls her “favorite philosopher.” It’s written in German, Rilke’s language, but translates in English as:
“Confess to yourself in the deepest hour of the night whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write. Dig deep into your heart, where the answer spreads its roots in your being, and ask yourself solemnly, Must I write?”
Some claim this is just dribbling German romanticism, but anyone who’s ever come to a crossroads in life where you are forced to choose between two things knows that there’s something too this type of melodrama. Sometimes it is the only thing. There are many kinds of death we endure in our lives before our heart stops beating, it doesn’t mean that you will stop breathing if you don’t do what you dream of doing, or what makes your feel the most at home in the world. But part of yourself does get packed up and forgotten.
Lady Gaga may mean something a little more literal, she may really think that she may die if she does write music or wear artsy-fartsy clothing, or inspire the devotion of millions (maybe billions?). During many of her onstage performances she collapses to the floor and tells the audience that she’s like Tinkerbell, and they must applaud to make her live

Miley Cyrus has proven she 'Can't Be Tamed,' and when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday, she appeared to be sporting a new tattoo. The word "LOVE" is inscribed on her right ear, although she has not confirmed if it's real or not. Perhaps it is a permanent dedication to her 20-year-old Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth? If the tattoo is real, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus would have had to sign-off on it because Miley is only 17 -- in the U.S., it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to get a tattoo without parental permission. The singer already has "Just Breathe" inked on her ribcage. Of course, that ink honors the memory of one of her close friends, who passed away from cystic fibrosis over three years ago. ("Just Breathe" is the slogan for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.)

Larsson's Millennium trilogy hits the million mark on e-books, 'Dragon Tattoo' No. 1 on Kindle
0 comments Posted by godo at 7:07 PMThe most well known and most popular mythical creature depicted in tattoos is the Japanese dragon. It is more popular than any of the other mythical creatures, such as the phoenix, mermaid or gryphon. This may be due to its shape because the long and flexible dragon that descends from Japanese tattoo traditions practically fits on every part of the body - covering full backs, winding himself around arms or coiling up on the chest of the carrier.
The Japanese dragon is usually depicted as a wingless, heavily scaled snake-like creature with small, clawed legs and a camel shaped head with horns. It is associated with sea, clouds or the heavens. It has whiskers and a beard, and it is deaf. In the West we think of dragons as terrifying beasts, but in Japan the dragon symbolises wealth, good fortune, good luck, kindness, power and freedom.
NEW YORK, N.Y. - It's electronic milestone time for Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy.
Publisher Alfred A. Knopf says the late Swedish author's blockbuster thrillers have sold more than 1 million copies in the e-book editions.
That makes Larsson at least the second author to join the e-million club.
The ultra-prolific James Patterson also has more than 1 million e-book sales.
Amazon.com is the biggest player in the growing e-book market. It told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Larsson's "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is the all-time top seller on the e-book reading device the Kindle.
Kathryn Stockett's novel "The Help" is No. 2.

Rib cage tattoo designs for men and women need to be broken down into both men and women. Let's stalk with the rib cages for men. The options available for a man includes scripted words in both Gothic and old English lettering. There's something about the natural curvature and a mutation of the rib that make written-words look really cool.
Most men who opt for these designs that are worded in old English or some other kind of super cool font, have sayings such as the name of the guy or the favorite football team. Once again the options are limitless here as to how many sentences you can think of in your head of three or less words? Personally I can think of about 4000 right now so you should not have a problem, they can be sayings or maybe even a slogan that you use all the time and maybe too much and this is where your friends and family can come into play with a recommendation.
As all women have rib cages as well as all girls, this means that you gals also get a section explicitly just for you. Rib cage tattoos are used to cute-up the body and since they highlight and support the breast regions, sometimes they are created beautiful works of art involving both the rib cage and the entire abdominal and chest area. There is nothing to be ashamed about here and we're only talking about tasteful well-done and professionally-created rib cage tattoo designs. Some of the most popular for women include text- sayings or longer names and even flowers such as a Hawaiian Hibiscus and the Florida Cherry Blossom.
Once more the sky is the limit here as the imagination of both the tattoo artist and the customer in the chair can be combined to create some of the best tattoos on a woman's rib cage ever. My personal favorite that I've seen on a woman walking on the beach in Miami has to be the little man hanging off each rib as if they're all going to fall off the top of a cliff! This tattoo was very cool and you had to see it to understand what I'm talking about
From ancient times tattoo artists have shown depictions or samplings of their artistic work and never has that been so transparent as today. The Internet has made it possible to see tattoos as they are being created on the human skin and what could be more realistic than being right in the chair alongside that person being tattooed?
The best Libra tattoo design will be found that duplicate what it is that Libra's are known for characteristically speaking. The zodiac sign of a Libra is the scales of justice with lady just as being blinded by a cloth with obvious meaning. If you've ever been to court you know that this is a hard concept to grasp it just is being blinded especially in smaller communities in the Deep South. Regardless of my political views on jurisprudence and her blindness, let's get back to understand and will something about those wonderful Libra inspired tattoo designs.
As mentioned earlier in the sign for zodiac all aspirations of the Libra is the blinded justice figure. A great example of a tattoo indicating the zodiac affiliation of the Libra would be the scales of justice themselves. The image for the tattoo could be just the scales suspended freely in space with the importance of being on equality and justice. This is what Libra's are well known for being equal and almost everything that they do and open it to debate and solutions solve and activities.
Many of the best Libra tattoos online can be found through sites that support the zodiac symbols for tattoo designs. With so many individuals on the planet believing in the zodiac and each having a semi-bias affiliation towards their respective sign, this explains why there are literally thousands of sites for Libra inspired tattoo designs. The bottom line should be to see as many Libra designs for tattoo options as possible and to make a top five listing of the ones that you like the best. In this way you can whittle down your list and then before you know it you will have one or two and maybe with the help of a partner or friend make the final decision.
If this seems long and drawn out it needs to be since tattoos are permanent when they are chiseled into your skin and filled with multicolored ink! Start off with a list of 20 or 30 and immediately run that list down to a top 10. Tribal Arm Tattoos - How Mere Ink Bears So Much Substance and Intrigue
0 comments Posted by godo at 6:57 AMI grew up in a fairly conservative family where Tribal Arm Tattoos were considered taboo. Hmmm, a taboo tattoo? Sounds kind of ominous. Well, my less than liberal upbringing by my parents, were tremendously against the idea of myself getting needles jabbed in my body of which I wanted so badly.
I was led to believe that only people of questionable character and morality, were thought to get tribal design tattoos, no matter where it was located. I then thought - "Is just a little harmless ink on my arms created in a tasteful way, going to make me 'immoral'? Heck no!"
Once I grew up and obtained my own independence, basically having 'flown the coop', I looked into Polynesian tattoo designs much more closely. I found what I learned was very intriguing indeed...
Truly A Sacred Art-Form
Several generations ago and still to this day, tattoo art is considered an integral facet of the tribal culture among the Polynesian heritage. Tribal arm tattoos were definitely not just simple body art for decorative purposes. In those days, there were no tats of ship anchors, Disney characters or 'I love Mom' that's for sure.
Most, if not all arm tattoo designs, had been elevated to the spiritual realm. There were three major factors driving this transformation: Pain, Permanence, and Loss of the Life Source (Blood).
The mystical combination of the three factors was seen as the chance to draw ever closer to God; whatever that signified to the tribe. The two sons of the God of Creation, taught the fine art of tribal art tattoos to humans.
A Language In Of Itself
The tradition for tribal art designs, was temporarily lost when the missionaries eliminated the practice. However, this practice returned through the drawings of the German physician and explorer - Karl Von Den Steinen.
His artistry displayed representations of an individual's life history, work activities and island heritage, where it was permanently drawn on the tribes-peoples' bodies. Time, history, location and indigenous culture, have given rise to great variations of tribal design tattoos throughout the world. Thus it's extreme popularity in the international community.
Polynesian tattoo designs took on a vital role in their respective cultures. The Polynesians really didn't have any written language with which to communicate. Consequently, these societies used this complex art-form to express their sexual maturity, heritage, achievements, conquests and rank within their society.
Evidently, tattooing and everything it encompassed, would never leave their ancient traditions.
For example, a male member of the tribe, whom had no tribal tattoo, was still regarded as a 'boy'. He was not allowed to speak among the men and was forced to complete tasks traditionally carried out by the women.
Status Symbols With Depth
Tattooing has always been thought of as a rite of passage. Adolescents typically received their first tattoo at the age of 12 or 13. (I would think that's certainly not the most painless method to be introduced to your teens by any means!).
Additional tattoos would be received as the years passed during adolescence then into adulthood. The tribal tattoo design normally indicated the individual's growing prestige and accomplishments within the tribe. The number of tattoos indicated numerous factors, the more common being, wealth, strength and power.
Chiefs and warriors usually had the most tribal markings, including tribal sleeve tattoos, armband tattoos and even full body tribal tattoo designs. On the other hand, those with none or few tattoos, were usually not respected and often found themselves ignored and disregarded by the rest of the tribe.
So it was basically getting yourself pricked, poked and pained, or you can't hang out at the feasts and ceremonial shin-digs or you'd be shunned! Get some needle-love, or no tribal boogie-ing around the fire!
Countless societies worldwide continue to harbor a tremendous respect, fascination and desire for these alluring tribal art designs. There's so much more we can learn about these captivating tattoos, their origin and what they represent. Thus, these eye-catching intricate patterns telling their own stories in such a unique and remarkable manner.
Lucky for us, there is a certain tattoo studio which provides an absolute treasure-trove of resources, education, advice, artists from studios from all over the globe, community feedback, valuable free treats, plus videos and documentaries on everything related to tribal arm tattoos and then some.
More importantly however, this gem of a resource truly alleviates the tedious, pain-staking process of hunting down that distinct and elusive tribal arm tattoo, which truly saves a ton of money, time and effort - bar none.

Angel Wing Tattoos All Have Different Meanings - Learn How to Choose the Right One
0 comments Posted by godo at 6:56 AMThese tattoos can come in many forms and sizes. Some angel wing tattoos span an entire arm or back, while others are tiny enough to fit on ankle or wrist. It's up to you which size you get, as it is all about personal preferences. Some people don't want a giant tattoo covering a large portion of their bodies. Smaller ones are easier to hide and many people find them to be more attractive.
Even more popular than angel wing tattoos are images of full-bodied angels. Sure, the wings are very cute, but an entire angel depicts whatever it is you want them to represent. The design can be of an angel smiling and being happy, or of a guardian angel. Some tattoos can be of a fierce looking fallen angel. And, of course, cute little cherubs are always popular tattoos.
Despite being identified as powerful beings serving God, many people interpret them in a variety of ways. Some view guardian angels as a powerful class in heaven, because of everything they do to protect the living. When people choose large angel wing tattoos, they sometimes have a guardian angel in mind. This is because a large wing covering our backs could be considered to be symbolic for protection.
Any discussion about angels without a mention of the cute cherub angel is sad. Everybody knows that the cherubs are all about love. Even though Cupid was a Roman god, he's still drawn in the form of a cherubic angel. There are many people who love this character and get him as a tattoo. Cherubs are often portrayed as chubby, happy, and cute.
Over the past couple of decades, angel wing tattoos inspired by the fallen angel have become quite popular. The fallen ones are those who have been banished from heaven for rebelling against God. Lucifer, of course, is the most well known of these fallen angels. Instead of getting a red devil tattoo, some people choose to get him drawn in his fallen angel form. These designs can depict a sad, lonely, anguished being, often slumped or even chained. Some are drawn as looking fierce and rebellious, with black wings rather than white.
Archangel tattoos are becoming more popular. These beings are believed to be God's elite warriors. Thus, they are often depicted as wearing armor and even holding weapons. Michael and Gabriel are the most well-known of the archangels, and are often memorialized as tattoos.
No matter which angel wing tattoos you find to be interesting, make sure you make the right decision. Tattoos are more than just appearance, they are also about symbolism and meaning. Everybody interprets tattoos in a different way, so as long as you are comfortable with what yours means, it will look great on you!
